Under really restricted conditions my Hustler 5BTV ground mounted vertical with DXE-AOK-17M 17 meter add on kit - I work my share of DX.
My station is a old Yaesu FT 840 100 watts and the Hustler vertical that is squeezed between cable TV and the rear of our house.
I've made 8000 mile SSTV contacts using this station on 20 meters. The add on kit actually works great. I've worked the Azores and Europe on 17 SSB.
